What do you get in the boxes

Your Glenmere metal Patio Dining Furniture will come in two large boxes. Pickup at store not available, home delivery is free, you will need some help getting this set in the garage or house when it arrives. The chair box will weigh 120 pounds and the table box will be 70 pounds.

When you set is assembled you will have a large dining table and six chairs. Table will have a hole for umbrella, just no lower support. Your umbrella base will have to be very sturdy with this set. A plug is included for the umbrella hole when no umbrella is used to have a flat table-top.

Chairs will have straight legs and cushions for the seating area. Back support is made by a lumbar pillow. You can use the chairs without the lumbar pillow, they will sit too low without the seat cushion. All cushions are supported by a woven resin wicker material that is very durable in outdoor conditions.  Pillows shown in pictures are not included with this set.

Chairs are 24.5 inches wide, 27 inches deep and 35.75 inches tall. Each will support 225 pounds of weight. Frames are made from steel with aluminum arms.

Cushions are made from an Olefin material. This material last very well in outdoor conditions if cared for properly. Tie straps are used to hold the seating cushions in place. You must store the cushions during harsh weather and clean when needed to get the most out of them.

Table has a slat top that the will support glasses very well. Some table s with open areas are unstable when having open areas in the top. Hole for umbrella will allow you to apply some shade during the days when you have a hot sun above. No lower support frame will mean that you will have to get a heavy umbrella base to keep it in place during windy days.

The table will be the size of a regular dining table at 66 inches long, 39 inches wide and 28.75 inches tall. Four square table legs will support the dining table.

Assembly of your dining set

After opening the boxes you will find all tools needed for assembly in the hardware pack. Assembly will take the average person about 10 minutes per chair and about 5 minutes for the table. A second pair of hands will make this assembly much easier, it can be done with one person that is skilled in this area.

Chairs will take attaching seat and back to one are assembly and then attaching other arm. Do the final tightening of hardware after every is started and the chair is sitting on the legs for best results.

Table will take attaching the legs to the connecting frames. The top attaches to this assembly. As with the chairs, the final tightening of hardware should be done with table sitting on its legs on a flat surface for best results.

Care of your patio dining furniture

With steel frames and a powder coated finish, this set will last very well in outdoor conditions if properly taken care of. Just mild soap and water with a hose will take care of most stains and spills. Do not use harsh chemicals as they will cause the powder coated finish to peel and crack. This will really shorten the looks and life of your patio furniture.

Cushions will need just a damp cloth to wipe most stains. Storage will be needed to prolong the life of any outdoor cushions no matter what the material they are made of.
