Solar Landscape Lighting Fixtures
We are going to look at four different cheap single Solar Landscape Lighting Fixtures for decorating your entrance to your home or your garden. Â This type of lighting has come a long way in the last few years. Â Most lights would not last the whole night and would only last one or two seasons. Â The fixtures that we will look at here will not only last more than a few seasons, very little if any maintenance will be needed to keep them working.
Moonrays 92223 Solar Powered White LED Glass Lily Flower Stake Light
The glass Lily Flower will shine at night with its LED bulb powered by the sun. Â The stem and leaf will have a bronze finish and the glass flower is white with a red speckled finish.
Once the fixture is assembled by putting the stake together, attaching the solar panel and glass flower top, you just have to wait for the first charge and enjoy your light. Â The LED bulb will not heat up, it will always be cool to the touch, and will last the life of the fixture.
The small solar panel is attached to the stem and powers the 400 mAh NiCad rechargeable battery. On a day when you get a full charge, your fixture should stay lit for up to 8 hours. Â Front to back the flower will be about 8.5 inches, side to side 3.7 inches and it is 32 inches from the top to the bottom. Â Some of this will be underground to support your fixture.
Moonrays 99924 Solar Powered Color-Changing LED Crackle Glass Globe
Looking for different colors in your garden or area of your yard you want to highlight. Â This crackled globe with seven different colors (yellow, green, purple, pink, orange, blue, and red) will rotate through the colors without any input. Â You cannot change or stop the color change option. Â It will add a colorful dimension to your garden or path.
The LED bulb is powered by a 600 mAh rechargeable battery that get its recharge from a solar panel attached to the post. Â The solar panel has a sensor that will turn your fixture on at dusk and stay on for about 8 hours with a full charge from the sun. Â The globe will remain cool as the LED bulb does not produce heat while producing light.
Easy to assemble, just make sure the ground is soft when pushing in the stake, it can be fragile. Â The globe is about 3.5 inches around and with the stake the total height will be almost 35 inches.

The colorful stained glass look of the hummingbird will be highlighted by the LED-powered globe at night. Â Day or night this fixture will be a great addition to any outdoor area such as a garden, fountain, pool, path, or patio.
The solar panel on the stake will charge the 400 mAh rechargeable battery to power your light automatically at dusk. Â With a full charge, it will stay on all night.
The globe will remain cool as the LED bulb does not produce any heat. Â The LED will never need to be replaced, as it will last the lifetime of the fixture.
The hummingbird is about 8.5 inches long, the globe is 3 inches around and the stake is 34 inches tall.
Luna Metal Solar Stake Light, Large
The Luna Solar Light finished in bronze color, will give you a nice path, garden, or patio decoration. Â The metal crescent-shaped moon will have a LED light in the middle with a face, giving off a soft yellow glow. The LED light will not get hot or need replacing, it will last the life of the fixture.
The solar panel hanging from the stake will charge your 1.2 volt 350 mAh rechargeable battery for up to 8 hours of illumination after the sunsets.
The Moon will be about 3.5 inches across and 13.8 inches tall. Â The stake will be about 2 feet tall.
Conclusion
Many styles of garden solar lights are available, some are for decoration, all will provide some light. Â Your choice to decorate and illuminate your outdoor space can be made simple, without wiring or planning locations close to an electric supply.
If you do not like the location of your Solar Landscape Lighting Fixtures, all you have to do is pull it up out of the ground and place it in another location.  No wires or box's to relocate.  Just make sure that your new location receives the maximum amount of daylight for the best results.  Make sure the ground is soft when placing the stake in, as they are not built very sturdy and can bend or break.

These are really pretty! I’ve never actually considered getting one of these but they are really cool and they are just the right price to get someone as a gift. Now I just need to figure out which one I like best! I like how you mentioned to make sure the ground is soft when placing them in the ground. Would you say then that a good time to decorate with them is after it’s rained because the soil will be squishy then?

After a rain would be a perfect time to plant one of these fixtures. One good thing about these solar lights is that if you do not like where it is located, just pick it up and move it to another location. No wires or other items to move.

We really like the outdoor lighting ideas! We are in the process of selling our home and want curb appeal. We hear that buyers will drive by the house they want at night also. So having the right lighting can make or break a sell we are hoping! What type of light do you recommend for fast curb appeal!
Solar lighting would be my choice. It is easy to place and when your house sells, you just pull them out, take them with you to your new house. No need for wiring or any other prep work.

These are so cool! I know you mentioned that these are literally portable without any wires or strings which is really cool and convenient. Maybe you have already said this but do they emit light at night? Also if they do how does it work without any wires?

In this type of solar light, you will have a small solar cell that collects sunlight to turn it into current to charge a rechargeable battery. The solar cell will have a sensor that will detect daylight and the light will come on at dusk. If the battery has enough charge it will last until sunrise and turn off. The rechargeable batteries will last for several years. Everything is contained in the fixture, no external wires or connections needed.

Really nice website! I really love the elegant garden light fixtures. I live in an off campus apartment so I have no need for these at the moment but when I get a house these will surely be on my list. I love the background it really sets the mood for your niche.

These type of fixtures do make some mood lighting and do not cost very much money. Get you a couple of flower pots and put some solar lights in them. If they can ge enough light during the day you will have mood lighting for your campus apartment that will set you apart from your neighbors.

Yes this is a picture in my back yard. I am in the process of making a set of four seasons pictures and also placing different styles of furniture in my outdoor patio area to showcase what you can do in one space.
You don’t have to worry about putting these lights outside unless you live in an area where kids might take off with your things outside. The weather will not bother them, only people that would like to have them with out having to purchase them.

These looks awesome! I am like every other person and end up just using the basic solar power light you put around your sidewalk.

I do have two of this type of Solar Landscape Fixtures in my yard. They seen to work very well. They are not for lighting up an area, just mainly for decoration. The small amount of illumination that they give out does not shine towards the ground. I like them around the yard as they are great for conversation even in the daylight when they are only a yard ornament. Most are very cheap-under $20.

I just wanted to know, how long does it take for both of the lighting to be fully charged under the sun?

It depends on the amount of sun the fixture gets during the day. Most Solar lights will tell you to turn the switch to the off position for the first day to get two days of charge before using the fixture. This will increase the life of the rechargeable batteries a little, it will give you the best light on the first night of use.
