Features and construction
In this patio furniture set you will get two chairs that swivel, seat and back cushions, a square fire pit with a cover for the fire bowl. The frames and fire pit are made from aluminum and are finished with a brushed gray finish.
The chairs will have a round base with a post base on the bottom of the seat base for a full 360-degree swivel. The chair will have aluminum bar arms with woven resin wicker inserts for each side and the back. The round base will have four adjustable feet that screw in or out to adjust to uneven surfaces.
The fire pit will be square in design with an aluminum frame. The sides will have an aluminum frame with a woven resin wicker panel on each side. The top will have a wood grain look finish for the surround and center cover. The cover will have a ring handle that can be used to remove it easily, after removal it can hang on the two hooks on one of the side panels.
Each of the four sides will be a little different. One will be plain, one will have two hooks for the removable bowl cover to hang on when not in use, one will have the control panel, and the fourth will have the access door to the 20-propane tank (not included).
The access door will have a base for the propane tank to sit in and rollers so that when the door opens the tank comes out with it. The control panel will house the igniter to start your fire and the flame control knob. This fire pit will put out 50,000 BTUs of heat on the high setting.
The square fire bowl will have a round fire ring that will have Lava Rocks for media. This will help with keeping the heat up after the fire has lowered or gone out. I still like the looks of some kind of glass rocks to give a reflection of the flames, you can use different colors to change the look of your fire.
Cushions will have a foam filling with an Olefin fabric cover, this is a better than average material for patio furniture covers. I would still recommend a storage solution for your cushions when not in use to make them last longer. The covers are supposed to be removable for cleaning.
Size and special options
Because of the swivel chairs, this set will make a bigger footprint than most three-piece patio sets. A small patio or balcony may be too small for this set. A builders grade deck, about 8 foot by 8 foot would be better suited for this set.
The chairs are 25.2 inches wide, 27 inches deep, and 33.5 inches tall. No capacity is given for these chairs, most chair of this style will hold about 225-250 pounds of butt.
The fire pit top is 28 inches across and the fire pit is 24.6 inches tall. The access door for the propane tank will have a rolling shelf attached to it so that when it is opened that tank will come out from under the fire pit.
Assembly and/or care
Assembly should be easy for most people. The chairs will need the post attached to the bottom of the seat base and inserted into the round chair base. Screw-in the adjustable feet to each chair base.
The fire pit will be a little more work. The four sides will have to be attached to the corner pieces. In a clockwise rotation upside down we will start with the door, it will have the tank shelf attached to it, then the plain panel, then the panel with the two hooks for the lid attached, then the last one will have the opening for the control panel. The feet can be added now.
Before turning over you will need to attach the control panel and route the valve assembly. The top can be placed upside down on a surface that will not scratch it, I like to use the cardboard from the box. Align the bottom assembly on the top to attach the two pieces together with two screws at each corner.
Put the fire pit on its feet for the final assembly. Next, you will have to sit the fire bowl in place and make sure the igniter and burner are routed correctly. Add lava rocks and a 20-pound propane tank (not included) and tighten the securing screw, or use the included adapter to connect to a LP source.
Now you are ready for your first fire.
To take care of your patio furniture, a damp cloth will be needed, if you get a heavy stain, use a mixture of mild soap and water. Do not use any harsh chemicals as they will damage the painted surfaces, they will start to peel and fade quickly.
The cushions will need a storage solution to last more than a couple of years outside. I recommend a storage box (see some of my storage solutions here) or keep them inside in a closet.

- The propane tank sits on a rolling stand
- The mounting bracket for the propane tank will have four rollers attached to the bottom so that when the door opens the tank will be fully exposed for easy changing or just to turn the tank on and off. For best results this set will need to be on a flat smooth surface, grass would not be an ideal location for this to operate.
Cons
- Cushions will need a storage solution
- The Olefin fabric for the cushion covers is a great fabric. Any patio furniture cushions should be stored out of the weather and sun to make them last for the longest time when not in use.
- Lava rocks for the burn bowl
- I prefer the glass rocks for the fire bowl, this would be an additional cost for this fire pit. You can get the glass rocks in various colors to change the flame output.
- High purchase price
- This set is one of the highest-priced 3-piece chat sets with a fire pit. You do get a lot for your money, like swivel chairs and a metal cover for the burn bowl. If you are looking for a high-end patio set, this set would be it.
