What do you get in the box
You will get a small round gas fire pit that will attach to the top of a table via the umbrella hole. The hole must be at least 2 inches across for it to mount correctly. The black metal base will be topped with a round glass enclosure that has a round burn bowl that will have clear glass rocks. This fire pit is very pleasing to the eyes.
The bottom of the fire pit will go through the umbrella hole in a table, a screw will secure it to the table. A one-pound propane tank (not included) will hang from the bottom of the mount. The control knob will adjust the flame level. No igniter is included for this fire pit, you will have to use a long match or long lighter, anything smaller you may lose some hair or skin from your hand.
The firepit will be 10.25 inches across and 10 inches tall. It will only weigh 8 pounds without the propane tank, it will be easy to store when not in use. A poly cover is included for covering your fire pit when not in use, just make sure it has cooled off first or you will burn a hole in it.
This gas fire pit will work well for those with small spaces and still like a little extra heat and some lighting. For other ideas on gas fire pits for your patio area, see my post here.
Assembly, use, and care of your fire pit
Assembly will take little time and one person can do it. Attach to the table through the umbrella hole, connect via a big nut to the bottom of the table. Secure the one-pound propane tank (not included) to the bottom of this assembly. Add clear fire rocks to the fire bowl and then add round glass. You are ready for your first fire.
Turn the gas tank on, move control knob to lighting position, light with a long fire source. Turn the control knob to the desired fire height.
Keep your fire pit out of harsh weather, you can keep covered with the included cover for some protection. To use a patio umbrella just remove your fire pit and install your umbrella for shade. As you cannot use both at the same time this will work out well for most.
